Welcome to the TEIGNMOUTH TOWN GUIDE

WE are proud to present you with the tenth publication of the Teignmouth Town Guide. This colourful publication includes interesting information about local organisations, events charities, clubs and the businesses of Teignmouth. The Teignmouth Town Guide is delighted to celebrate our tenth anniversary special and it will continue to be an annual

publication, working in conjunction with the Teignmouth Town Council and the invaluable support of the local advertisers. We truly thank each and every one of you. So please consider the local businesses when you are visiting or shopping in Teignmouth. We know Teignmouth’s a gem – lets keep it that way.

We all need to support these events to ensure they continue. Your town council plays its part in

While my role is largely as an ambassador for the town, I want to actively enlist the help of fellow residents to join me in raising the profile of the town to attract visitors and businesses to the town and indeed the area. I want to see our town prosper and my aim is to work towards attracting investment and building a healthy commercial environment, and thereby create good quality jobs locally. A commercially successful Teignmouth, with full B&Bs, thriving maritime activities, and growing businesses will

like where they live and are negative about their towns, we are actually blessed with so much, that I hope we can speak with one voice and say we are proud to live in and be part of Teignmouth. The Mayoral Charities this year include the

Cave music project, Kingsway Residents’ Association and a discretionary fund for smaller donations to other Teignmouth-based charities. Cllr Terry Falcâo, Town Mayor
