Author Brenda Cobb to Keynote the NAVEL Expo May 14 (NYC) and May 15 (LI)
A
s with one out of two people living in the United States, cancer found its way to the door of Brenda Cobb. Her story is not much different than that of the many thousands of people that will be blindsided by the heart-breaking diagno- sis this year, although the actions she took in response were, let’s just say, unconventional.
Sustainable Coastal Development Offered in Virginia
O
cean Land Trust Inc. is offering property for home building in The Waverly, a new Earth-friendly, sustainable alternative to the more traditional high-impact coastal de- velopments, in Machi- pongo, along Virginia’s scenic Chesapeake Bay shoreline. The 23 separate land parcels, ranging from three to 22 acres, are especially well suited for family compounds, organic farms and horses. The land is on high ground, well protected from coastal
Today, some 17 years post the terminal diagnosis, Cobb is not only cancer-free, she is the author of 10 books on natural approaches to healing, including the transformational Living Foods Lifestyle (with a forward by William E. Richard- son, M.D.). She is also founder of the Living Foods Institute, a sanctuary in Atlanta, Georgia, that has, for many years, been a life-saving oasis for people with every kind of “incurable” condition from obesity and cancer to asthma and diabetes. Cobb has appeared live on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and
FOX networks as well as many cable stations giving advice on healthy eating and living. She was awarded an honor- ary cultural doctorate in therapeutic philosophy from the World University as well as the Phoenix Award by the city of Atlanta.
Her secret is no secret at all, for she has spent a large portion of her time educating anyone that will listen about the healing power of food. Not organic food. Not raw food. But living food. Basing her work on that of Dr. Ann Wigmore, founder of the original Hippocrates Health Institute, Cobb teaches preparation of fermented, sprouted and enzyme-rich food to create the perfect ecosystem for healing. At the upcoming May 14 (NYC) and May 15 (Long
Island) Nutrition, Aesthetics, vitality, Efficacy, Life (NAvEL) Expo, Cobb will head up an impressive speaker roster of more than 70 healers from around the nation. Some are highly trained medical doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors, nutritionists and acupuncturists, and others have been able to reverse a chronic condition in themselves or a loved one and have become passionate promoters of the unique journey that led them to spontaneous remission and optimal well- being.
