GREETINGS

The Boat Show’s admission by dona- tion goes to the Sailing & Watersports School and the Disabled Sailing Asso- ciation. The Sailing School offers low- cost, subsidized watersports lessons to the public, from the ages of 4 and up. It offers popular French Immersion sailing lessons – the only program of its kind in Canada – with highly qualified and experienced instructors. Check them out on YouTube to get a feel for the fun and enthusiasm of participants.

THE KELOWNA YACHT CLUB welcomes you to the 21st annual Boat Show! This year’s Boat Show carries on a proud tradition of offering a venue for locals and residents to visit various marine- related organizations, and others of general interest. Enjoy your time here – while you’re also supporting some worthy causes!

Funds raised from the Boat Show go towards installing and maintaining public mooring buoys along Okanagan Lake, in collaboration with other yacht clubs on the lake. Any fine summer day, pleasure craft from all over the Okanagan are tied up to the mooring buoys, enjoying lake life.

The Disabled Sailing Association (DSA) gets people sailing who, without special equipment and support, would not have the opportunity to do so. Stop by their booth to learn more! Kelowna Yacht Club proudly supports the DSA through donation of boat moorage space and accommodating adaptive facilities on our dock.

With pleasure, we welcome you to visit our beautiful clubhouse. Come in for a look around and refreshments. If you’re interested in learning about club membership, there’s information in the lower atrium.

Thanks for visiting!
