into what Tim “transports” to those missing, loved ones and dealing with loss.

Did your abilities frighten you at first? It frightened me very much, because my brother, who is

18 years older, was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. So, when he began hearing voices and I was hearing voices, I thought I was losing my mind. I was not seeing nor hearing what he was, but none-the-less, it scared me very, very much! Does this phenomenon go on 24/7? If so, how are you able to tune it out? It can go on 24/7, but I don’t allow it, because it takes a lot of

energy to do this work. When I do my sessions, I start out with a two-minute guided meditation and that tells spirit that I am open for business. Then, I do a two-minute closing medita- tion, which tells spirit that I am not working any longer and 90 percent of the time that works. But sometimes, I will be walking down the road and see a man with a missing leg. I’ll do a double-take and he is actually walking with both legs, which tells me he will more than likely be losing his leg. Sometimes, I will be in the grocery store and will see two women walking down an aisle—one young, one old—I’ll [look again and] realize there was only one woman. I was actually seeing her departed daughter walking with her. When I attended your show at Pala Casino, I noticed that most

of the people you focused on had extreme circumstances around the death of a loved one. How do you know whom to let in? I don’t make the decision on who comes in and who

doesn’t. My guides do the work for me and know who I need to connect with. Even in your case, I had no idea you were in the audience and yet out of close to 700 people, you got one of the sittings. Spirit knew. My guide knew to go to you because of the aftermath of your father’s death and because you would be working on getting this message out to the public. Spirit is the ultimate decision maker on who I go to. You said very specific things about my father that no one would really know or has ever been spoken about. Where do they come from and how do they find you? Those in need are inviting them, the departed are hearing

those voices and thoughts about coming through. They will usually show me the face or image right at the time of passing.

The Rage Monthly decided to delve deeper

Sometimes, they will show the face of what they looked like now on spirit side and sometimes, they will show themselves a little younger than they were. They always bring validation coming across; what they looked like, how they passed, names, dates, details, places of interest, to prove it is actually them coming through. In one sentence, what is your basic message on your Manifesting Your Heart’s Desire CD? Faith and belief that you can make desires happen!

Any tips for those dealing with a profound loss? Read my book, Life and Death, it took me ten years to

write, rewrite and rewrite again. It just made number one three weeks ago on Amazon, under bereavement. There are exercises, techniques and stories on how to transform your life after a devastating loss and getting used to your new normal. What advice would you give those who wonder what they can do to get more in touch with their own intuition? Meditation is the most important thing. I meditate 20 minutes every single day. For me, it is about closing my eyes, sitting upright in a chair, palms up, concentrating on the breath, 10 seconds in, hold it in for 10 seconds and let it out and do that for 20 minutes. Set a timer and don’t open your eyes until the timer goes off. Really get into that zone of meditation and that will help you heal and open up your receptivity. We all have “hunches” and this is a great way to exercise those muscles. Pay attention when you see those signs and always say thank you to the person who comes in. Is there a special message or words of encouragement for those in the LGBT community struggling with deep loss? The LGBT community has faced many overwhelming obstacles historically: Stonewall, AIDS, marriage equality, with ebbs and tides of social acceptance. Yet, the community remains strong, with more and more in the public eye, such as athletes, musicians and actors who are coming out. Loss of loved ones affects all straight, gay, bisexual and transgender people, I always say that death does not discriminate. Many in the community have been alienated, discouraged and disowned by family. Look to friends in the LGBT community when going through a loss or death of a loved one. My book has some great suggestions that anyone can incorporate into the grieving process.
