What was your first drag moment, adult and/or child? Tell us true now! Gay Pride 2009, I went to a lesbian party and they all told me I was beautiful... They didn’t know any better. Who was your drag mother? I don’t have one, but Peppermint, Sherry Vine and Bianca Del Rio taught me everything I know. Are you an off-the-rack girl or a hand made maven? They don’t sell my size. Not even in Harlem. To what do you attribute the success of RuPaul’s Drag Race and why do you think drag has reached such a zenith in? Drag is one of the most all-encompassing art forms there is. Plus, drag queens are dramatic. Favorite RuPaul quote or advice heard given? “If you can’t love yourself, I understand, cause you’re an asshole.” What do you consider your personal “best moments,” either in drag or out? I don’t think I’ve reached my best, quite yet. Your most hilarious drag moment? Having a drunk guy throw a beer bottle at my head and dodging it... Without missing a beat. What’s your secret weapon for RPDR? The mind is a terrible thing to waste. And, some of these girls are very wasteful. What are your plans if you win RPDR? I don’t even have enough time or print space to answer this question. I can say this though; I am a queen for the people. I believe in serving the people. So if I win, the people win. Entertainment is a public service.

I’m beautiful as a goddess and funny as a clown. Did you wanna see my cucu? Almost ten years as a drag queen, 20 years a professional singer, 15 years a professional dancer and actor... And totally crazy! What was your first drag moment, adult and/or child? Tell us true now! The very first moment I did drag! Ten years ago, when I got $42 on my first number. I thought I’d won the lottery! Who was your drag mother? I have three drag moms: Kathy La Fontaine, Jovanka Lalique and Kayra Lee Naranjo. Are you an off-the-rack girl or a hand made maven? I’m a D&G Girl! (Dolce and Gonzales) kinda girl. To what do you attribute the success of RuPaul’s Drag Race and why do you think drag has reached such a zenith? All the success, of course, is on the creator, my mami, Ru Paul Charles. Confidence and talent make her so popular and she just likes to spread the love. Her children (us) receive this success as well. Back in the day, drag queens were the ones to stand by this community. Finally, the rest of the LHBTQI world is recognizing the sacrifices and commitment. Favorite RuPaul quote or advice heard given? “If you can’t love yourself how the hell can you love somebody else?” Can I get an Amen? What do you consider your personal “best moments,” either in drag or out? Recognizing my sexual orientation and becoming the person I am today. Your most hilarious drag moment? When I sang live for the very first time. Nobody in the audience expected that! Their faces were priceless! What’s your secret weapon for RPDR? My personality and talent combined will be my “atomic drag bomb” to the competition!! (Boommmmm!) What are your plans if you win RPDR? Buy Chalupas and burritos for a year. On a serious note, help my family and do more community services for my people.

I’m Zavion, from Shreveport, Louisiana and I’m the new, up-and-coming, dancing diva of Louisiana! What was your first drag moment, adult and/or child? Tell us true now! My grandmother was a hairstylist, so as a kid, I would always play in her wigs and heels. Who was your drag mother? My drag mother is the Late Kourtney DeVayne and the lady Phat Kat. Are you an off-the-rack girl or a hand made maven? I make some things, but I would love to be an off-the-rack girl. To what do you attribute the success of RuPaul’s Drag Race and why do you think drag has reached such a zenith? The world is finally accepting that drag is an art form. Favorite RuPaul quote or advice heard given? “Be your true self—no one likes a clone.” What do you consider your personal “best moments,” either in drag or out? Making it on Drag Race. This is an amazing accomplishment and nothing that has happened thus far, can top that. Your most hilarious drag moment? Anytime my wig flies off during a performance... Uhggh! What’s your secret weapon for RPDR? I have no secrets, what you see is what you get. What are your plans if you win RPDR? My plans are to travel the world with my family. I would love to take my mom to Paris and Italy.
