AWARDS PROPERTY COAST
SOUTH
The South Coast Property Awards – a new awards initiative launched by The Business Magazine – will be held in 2016 at the Hilton at Ageas Bowl, Southampton
Developers, agents, occupiers, consultants and professionals will gather for the celebration of commercial and residential property success in the Solent region.
Following the success of the Thames Valley Property Awards, which in just two years has grown to a major event attended by 500-plus property specialists, The Business Magazine is to create a sister awards scheme for the South Coast.
“This is the right time to be launching the South Coast Property Awards,“ said The Business Magazine managing director David Murray, “as there’s much positive news in the sector at the moment. The level of property investment in Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth suggests that 2015 and 2016 will be very strong years.
“The Awards cover the whole Solent region – so we are expecting entries from Weymouth in the west to Chichester in the east, and right up to Winchester and Andover. We have already confirmed some excellent sponsors and more will be announced in our February issue.“
Confirmed sponsors so far include NatWest, which will be sponsoring the Housebuilder of the Year category; law firm
Coffin Mew, which will sponsor Property Deal of the Year; and property consultancy Vail Williams, which will sponsor Property Law Firm of the Year.
Other categories include Development of the Year; Commercial Property Consultancy (Agent); Workplace Environment; and Town/City of the Year.
The gala awards night will be a black-tie event at the Hilton at Ageas Bowl on July 7.
Awards nominations open on December 14. The qualifying period for developments, deals, etc is January 2015 to March 2016.
Tables can now be booked for the awards night. A table of 10 is priced at £1,500 ex VAT and includes three-course dinner, half a bottle of wine, and drinks reception.
