Quesada Bowls Club report Sponsored by
The Club’s new winter programme is now in full swing and so far it is pleasing to report that all our teams in both the SABA and SOUTHERN leagues are doing well. At the time of writing this report the Quesada Swifts are holding top spot in the Voyager Division of the Southern League and the SABA Pearls are holding top spot in Division A with the Diamonds pressing for the top spot in Division C. Our Winter League squad are currently defending their two back to back league titles, with some interesting matches still to play.
Our two players, Lisa Bonsor and Derek Sale have recently returned from representing Spain in the European Championships in Israel, and both players thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We shall shortly see the following players departing for Cyprus to represent Spain in the qualifying tournament for the World Championships in 2016:

Our Saturday morning ‘Chicken Drive’ is open to visitors. Players wishing to take part should report at 9.45am for a 10am start. The Bowls Clubs has an active social programme and visitors are welcome.
