is celebrating 75 years of service throughout 2015. In recognition of its anniversary, the league hopes to collect 75 times 10 (750) new books for children and teens on Make A Difference Day, Oct. 24. Collection bins will be located


at the Now and Again Thrift Shop in downtown Orange and at Villa Park City Hall. The Assisteens Auxiliary will place bins at Or- ange Lutheran and Villa Park


High Schools. All donated books will be distributed to nonprofit organizations, including Orange Children and Parents Together, Friendly Center, Orangewood and Boys & Girls Club of Or- ange. In addition, books will be shared with new teachers to help create libraries in Orange Unified School District classrooms. Make a Difference Day was

ments, including euphoniums, trombones, trumpets, flutes, clarinets, cellos, violas and violins, have been delivered to school sites and are currently being distributed to students to take home. Students are also provided with music books for orchestra and band, as well as all materials and supplies nec- essary for general music, the- ater and visual arts. The pro- gram has been embraced by teachers and site principals.
