However, the fact is that the majority of employers give a resume an initial glance of maybe 20 sec- onds. Your resume needs to catch their interest so that the employ- er will spend


more time studying your infor- mation. It is also necessary to remember that some employers use a software program to look for key words.


That is why it is always helpful to have an


actual job announcement which should have key words in it. For these reasons, it is im- portant to prepare a resume that includes the essential duties and skills that are a part of your employment history.
