Are you a Certified Ontario Dry Cleaner? Now’s your chance to
qualify or to be re-certified All Ontario dry cleaners must have a valid certificate to operate their business, according to Ministry of the Envi- ronment Regulation 323/94. Readers of this magazine are aware that inspectors are in the field and fines are being levied for non-compliance to this regulation and the operating practices taught in the certification course. Dry cleaners must be re-certified every five years. Seneca College, located in Toronto, is holding certifica- tion classes as follows: • New Certification: Thursday, October 28 and Fri- day, October 29.
• Re-Certification for those with certificates dated prior to 2010: Friday, October 29.
