he U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service at Grey Towers,


the Pinchot Institute and Lacawac Sanctuary are holding professional development workshops for educators: Project Learning Tree’s climate change module and a Leopold Education Project, an innovative, interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education curriculum.


Workshops are scheduled during the work week and held at Grey Towers National Historic Site, in Milford, Pennsylvania. Exact dates are still being defined. The Aldo Leopold Foundation’s mission is to advance the understanding, stewardship and restoration of land health and to cultivate leadership for conservation. Project Learning Tree is a program of the American Forest Foundation that uses the forest as a window on the world, engaging the next generation of America’s thought leaders and decision makers. They provide educators with peer-reviewed, award-winning environmental education curriculum resources that can be integrated into lesson plans for all grades and subject areas.

Spiritual Holistic Expo Supports Enlightenment

he Metaphysical Universal Ministry (MUM) and Meta-


physical Learning Center of Allentown will host the 23rd Annual Fall Spiritual Holistic Expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., September 19 and September 20 at the


Allentown Fairgrounds AgriPlex Center. The expo provides an opportunity for visitors to meet with more than 150 vendors of all modalities and alternative healing methods. The keynote speaking lineup includes Lisa Alexander, Certified Vibrational Sound Therapist; Maureen Rogers, Author and specialist on Herbs and Kaye Anne Clark; an inspirational speaker, author and teacher. The large expo bookstore will also offer 50 percent off during the event, and there will also be additional free seminars and door prizes throughout the weekend.
