New Orleans 2015 ACI Home Performance Conference & Trade Show The 2015 ACI Home Performance Confer-


ence & Trade Show was held in New Orleans on May 4-7, 2015. Dubbed "Affordable Com- fort" for the organization that initiated the conferences in 1986, the merger of Affordable Comfort, Inc. & the National Home Performance


Council led to the Home Performance Coalition as sponsor of the show.


Steve Cowell (CEO of Conservation Ser- vices Group) serves as President of the Home Performance Coalition. His return visit to New Orleans, after a lot of work locally post-Katrina, provided the forum for the announcement that CSG would be imminently purchased by CLEAResult. Steve's work with home perfor- mance issues will continue through the non- profit arm of CSG.

Numerous local companies involved with Energy Efficiency, Solar, & Home Performance participated in the conference which initially was created as a training arm for weatheriza- tion program workers. Since then, the event has branched out to related fields as the industry has developed, while still retaining a "hands-on" perspective. Sessions included the topics of: Building Science, Infrared Cameras, Ventila- tion, Windows, HVAC, Air-Sealing, Insulation, Energy Codes, Diagnostic Testing, Moisture Issues, Business & Marketing and Combustion Safety.
