Australian contract award for MIC
Machinery International Corporation of the United States has been awarded a contract to sell the machinery and equipment of the Crane Copper Tube Plant located in Sydney, Australia. The sale will begin in early
July and will include a Schumag 3 Draw Cascade Line, 3500 Ton BLH Extrusion Press, four Spinner Blocks, four Drawbenches, and vast quantity of fi nishing lines. Last month Machinery
International Corporation was awarded a contract to sell the assets of the Profi l Desnoyer
Copper Tube Plant in Tunis, Tunisia. This sale, which has just commenced, includes six Schumag Lines, MRB Spinner Blocks, a 1600 Ton Press, a complete copper tube fi ttings department, and several large drawbenches.
