OLIMPIA 80 tube mill installation for South American manufacturer

including packaging line, can produce round tube in a OD range from 35 mm up to 139 mm (5 ½”), square sections from 40x40 mm up to 100x100 mm in a thickness range from 1.5 up to 6.5 mm. The max mill speed is 120 m/min.

All the stands in break down,


fin-pass and sizing sections are individually motorized, in order to equilibrate the used power and better control the torque in every passage, consequentially reducing the rolls wear. The line is equipped with a Quick Roll Change System by cassette, removable by crane. This system reduce drastically the timing of the production changeover.
