Gee-Force to be reckoned with… and it’s on your doorstep!!

Still buzzing in the afterglow of their fourth successive year as an exhibitor at the SNS2015 conference and exhibition in Norwich, I caught up with Graeme Cook, the charismatic (with a capital “K”), MD of Gee-Force to find out how the EEEGR flagship conference had faired for him and his team!

PLANNING AND PREPARATIONS

All the planning and preparations working up to the event certainly paid dividends, for Gee-Force - a family run business that sells and hires out hydraulic and pneumatic bolting equipment, as well as flange alignment/ spreading equipment and other hydraulic tools and equipment as distributors for SPX Bolting Systems, Norbar Torque Tools and Equalizer International.

The company was determined to make their presence felt and demonstrate the virtues of their expertise and customer service to local businesses in and around Great Yarmouth – to quote their sound bite – ‘the beach got closer’. This phrase is a nod to the fact that Gee-Force provides companies in the locality and beyond with equipment needed for offshore maintenance and repair in the southern North Sea.

RE-INFORCE GEE-FORCE

To re-inforce the message about their powerful equipment offering, Graeme has over the last few years enlisted the assistance/collaboration of two times winner of Britain’s Strongest Man, Laurence Shahlaei - or as he is affectionately known in the business, Big Loz. Laurence’s presence provides an effective synergy between the products and his immense strength! Most certainly, he’s a very affable ‘face of the company’ and savvy marketing strategy, further enhancing the brand and assisting in the forging of new business relationships.

One could certainly never accuse Graeme and his team of being shy and retiring types, but behind this pizzazz and fanfare there is a very serious and professional organisation, providing an important and extensive service to the sector.
