TRAINING A PAINFUL MEMORY...


July 6th is a date that still painfully echoes within the minds of many due to the impact of the harrowing Piper Alpha disaster; a vast proportion of those that passed away were close friends of and had previously worked alongside, our Managing Director – his resonating grief and unwavering desire to prevent any similar tragedies propelled him to enter into the field of health and safety.


POSITIVE FROM A NEGATIVE He devoted the following eight years of his life after the tragedy to aspiring towards this goal and progressed through a number of prominent safety related positions offshore, before later establishing his own international safety training company in 1996 – CSC International (with their main base of operations located and still based, in his hometown of Great Yarmouth).
