VIRGINIA “Ginger” PORTER 9-20-1957—10-20-2014


Ginger taught school for 35 years and was active in her church espe- cially with young people. She is sur- vived by her father, a sister, and two brothers, including Hal Porter, Manager of the Citrus County Fair.


STRUPPI “Princess Tajana” HANNEFORD


9-26-1931—11-1-2014


Also known as Gertrude was the owner of the Royal Hanneford Circus and was a trapeze artist and a wild animal tamer. She is survived by her daughter and four grandchildren.


WILMA “Miss Willy” ANDERSON 8-25-1933—12-2-2014


She was Supervisor of Elections for over 30 years. Wilma devoted many hours to the Citrus County Fair and was a lifetime Director. She is survived by 7 children, 23 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren.


LeROY “Lee” HENRY 10-5-1941—12-5-2014


Lee was Superintendent of the Heritage Garden at the Clay County Fair, he was named 2014 Master Gardner of the Year. He is survived by his wife Linda, 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.


ROY ROCHESTER 3-27-1940—12-3-2014


Roy was Past President of the Martin County Fair and was instrumental in making the Fair what it is today. He is survived by his wife Carol, 2 sons, a daughter, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.


CLAUDE KELLY 1-25-1916—12-14-2014


He was fondly referred to as the "Father of the Clay County Agricultural Fair" and the Fair Board office located at the fairgrounds is named in his hon- or. A great man who loved Clay Coun- ty.


CHARLES H. “Bull” RIGDON 9-22-1929—12-7-2014


Bull was President of the FFF in 1987 and again in 2001. He was inducted into the FFF Hall of Fame in 1995. He had served 21 years on the Ft. Walton Beach City Council and was still serving at the time of his death as well as being CEO of


the Northwest Florida Fair. He is survived by his wife Helen, 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Bull played a ma- jor role in the development and advancement of the Florida Federation of Fairs.


NELL “Nellie” DUKES 1-16-1920—12-23-2014


Active in her community she was once named Volunteer of the Year at the Columbia County Fair. She is survived by 3 sons, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.


DELANE BLACK 1-19-1922—1-23-2015


“Blackie” was a long time volunteer at the Clay County Fair. He retired from the U.S. Navy. His is survived by a son, daughter, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchil- dren.


KEVIN DOYLE 10-20-1934—1-16-2015


A second generation of Fair Publishing House now run by third generation, son Charles. Long time members of the FFF. Kevin was still active in Ohio and wintered in Palm Beach. He is survived by 3 children, and 2 grandchildren.


DAVID LANGER 10-13-1935—1-31-2015


David served on the board of the Citrus County Fair, he was a former County Commissioner and a member of the School Board. He is survived by 4 chil- dren, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
