The Romans Group has just completed an unprecedented third record-breaking year in succession, by seizing opportunities and rising to challenges. 2014 was full of significant highlights for all divisions of the property services company and resulted in both the 500 employee milestone being broken and £37M revenue for the first time.
2014 highlights from the Romans Group
Residential Sales The business’ ongoing growth resulted in the successful opening of two new offices in Farnham and Sunningdale. Romans also received a number of prestigious industry accolades, including gold for Best Property Website in the UK at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2014, in association with The Sunday Times.
Lettings & Property Management
The Lettings & Property Management division continued to expand during 2014 through the acquisitions of Jacksons in Henley-on-Thames, Caroline Clark & Associates in Sunningdale, Sherriff Mountford in Burnham, and Drummonds in Caversham.

Boyer
To continue its growth as a multi skilled national consultancy, Boyer expanded its services into development economics during 2014. Experienced managers and directors were also recruited, to make sure the company continues to offer an extensive range of planning, design and development related services to private, public and third sector clients.
Romans Mortgage Services
19 mortgage advisers are now employed and the growth and development of this team has helped Romans Mortgage Services (RMS) increase its turnover by an impressive 58% year on year. Attracting even more high calibre advisers to RMS to support the continued expansion of the Romans Group is a key focus for 2015.
Charity
Community spirit has always been at the heart of all that Romans do, and for many years it’s been dedicated to raising money and awareness for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice. In just three years the business has raised more than £40,000, and it’s devoted to supporting the Berkshire based charity until the hospice has been built, pledging to raise £30,000 more in 2015.

Auctions
Romans continues to dominate the auction arena in the Thames Valley region, and in response to the business’ areas of operation expanding, the auctions sales room has now relocated to the modern surroundings of the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading.
