Breeding Stallions in the Ribbons (listed alphabetically)

Calano Z Calano Z (Calato Z x Calvaro Z x Coriall Z) is a 2011, 16.3 hand grey stallion, bred in the Netherlands by Piet Jans- sen and purchased as a weanling by AliBoo Farm. Calano Z is bred from one of the top show jumping dam lines in the world and his results in recent free jump- ing competitions have served to reinforce specu- lation as to his inherited greatness. Having satisfied all medical require- ments, he will be approved with the BWP in 2015; his ap- proval should coincide with the first of his foals being born. In 2013, he was the 2-Year-Old Free Jumping Cham- pion at the Young Horse Show Finals and placed third in the in-hand division. He followed up with an even high- er performance as a three-year-old at 2014 Young Horse Show Finals, earning the champion ribbon along with the second highest score of the day in the three-year-old free jumping class with a 9.81. He also placed second in the three-year-old in-hand class.

Carrasca Z Carrasca Z (Asca Z x Calato x Cantus) is a 2010, 16.1 hand dapple grey stallion approved by the BWP. AliBoo Farm’s ma- triarch, Janet A. Flury, purchased “Hank” as a weanling for his exceptional bloodlines and named him after her father for their shared love of horses. When approved as a stallion in 2013, his free-jumping score was the highest a stal- lion had ever re- ceived in North America. In 2014, he began showing under saddle and has continued to have an exceptional year in the 1.05m jump- ers. Hank was overall grand champion of the four-year-old International Jumper Futurity and was also champion in both the scope and type portions. He continued his winning ways at the Young Horse Show Finals, where he earned a perfect score of 10 in the free-jumping chute — a score that has nev- er been given in this class before. At the YHS Finals, Hank was the champion four-year-old in both the jump chute and the in-hand classes and was reserve champion in jumping under saddle. The next phase of his competition career will begin at the Winter Equestrian Festival in 2015.
