February D’Byrth Ov Phenex Stew Gallery

Lewis Lenton’s surreal, abstract, psychedelic works of art have to be seen to be believed. Influenced and inspired by sci-fi, video games and the French illustrator Mobius, he creates paintings in acrylics, watercolours, oils and ink. Entirely self taught, Lewis started painting seriously following being diagnosed as autistic, and the title of the show is phonetically “Te birth of phoenix”, reflecting Lewis’ self reinvention since then. Lewis is also a keen photographer (you may have enjoyed some of his Caught Out photos in this very magazine!) but this is his very first art exhibition. Come down to Stew for the opening night on the 7th between 19:00 and 21:00 or catch the show up until the 14th February. Artwork will be for sale!
