ice in Orissa, an Indian state that has seen violent anti-Christian acts. He ministered in a large leper village in Bhubaneshwar. He felt the need to do more and envisioned a medical clinic for lepers. In great faith, he oversaw putting down a foundation for a large facility. Funding was a challenge, but he moved forward. God touched the heart of a WME Board member and his ministry to help fund that project, and 2015 started with another major donation for leper ministry. People who have been labeled as outcasts due to leprosy are coming to Christ because of this expression of His love. This is the victory of faith for “the least of these.”


The First Christian Church at Hilgi, India


We developed a farm in Hilgi to supply some food needs for a nearby WME Children’s Home and began employing local people to tend the farm. The area was 90% Hindu, 10% Muslim, and 0% Christian. I spoke at the first gathering of people about how “God has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on the face of the earth.” Little did I know, these people were from the lowest caste of Indian society, and the mes- sage was exactly what they needed to hear. Two years later, I opened and preached at a new WME church that was packed out. This is the first Christian church in Hilgi. The congregation is growing, and other churches will open in this area.
