sweet potato and other root crops. They also raise chickens and hogs, but only enough to meet a families’ needs. Some families have horses for bearing heavy burdens, but most carry farm produce on their shoulders to sell to business people along the shoreline.
The believers of Daingan are generally good and hospitable, especially now that they have turned to Christ from their old sinful ways. And these are people we can encourage to go on serving the Lord and sharing the experience of their changed lives with others in the mountain areas be- yond their village.
