Just a few years ago floorplans were a rarity in property particulars. Now, Metropix has created its four-millionth floor plan. Sandersons, which operates three offices across the South East, was the agent who commissioned the landmark plan for a three-bedroom letting instruction in Canterbury. The overall winner for ‘Best Real Estate Agent in Europe’ was clinched by Fine & Country Rugby. The event raised £2,000 for the Estate Agency Foundation. Fine & Country CEO Matthew Pryke said, “The expertise and professionalism shown has been very impressive the agents should be extremely proud of their achievements.”

New Facebook App Launched


PropertyPage, a free Facebook application that enables buyers and tenants to search for properties close to their specified locations such as schools and transport, has gone live. It is a personal space, where users can discover, compare and share properties, as well as locations and areas, either in private or by sending to a friend’s wall, adding their own recommendations and comments. The app aims to tap into the

The 25-35 year old age group makes up the largest demographic of Facebook users in the UK (26.4 per cent) closely followed those aged 18-24 (25.9 per cent). Simon Gerrard, MD of Martyn Gerrard, said, “More and more people now ‘live’ on Facebook, and as a business, being able to interact with them is increasingly important. The number of direct hits to our website has been in excess of 2 million so far this year and since we installed PropertyPage, those referred from Facebook has noticeably increased and I can only see this figure rising.”
