Franchisees for Alex Clark Alex Clark has recently signed up two
high-flying franchisees to his new
business, Alex Clark Lettings Franchise. Launched late in 2011 and
based on his successful Cheltenham lettings agency, the franchise is attracting high calibre franchisees. Alex, who sold the sales arm of his agency in 1994 to concentrate solely on the lettings market now has four operational franchisees in Gloucester, Weston super Mare, Kingston upon Thames and Wimbledon and Hertford with plans to have 150 franchisees across the UK in the next 10 years. Franchisee number three is
George Hughes, previously Head of IT Consulting for a national ferry company, who now owns Alex Clark Lettings Franchise – Hertford. Says George, “I wanted to own and run a family business, I looked at a broad range of franchises and property was my preferred sector. I assessed a number of opportunities and was drawn to Alex Clark Lettings by the passion, processes and most of all the people in the business. I know we will succeed together and that it will be fun too!” Franchisee number four is Commander Peter Greenwood who recently retired from the Royal Navy after 30 years in front line, operational jobs, most recently as the lead planner for Royal Navy’s support to the 2012 Olympics. Says Peter, “Having served my country for over 30 years as part of a first class but large government organisation I knew that I wanted my second career to be one where I could control my own destiny.”
The Apprentice Horsham teenager Hannah Brock has landed a professional apprenticeship
with Henry Adams, estate agents and Chartered Surveyors. Following the successful
completion of a two week work experience, partner of the expanding Horsham agents,

Howard Ball, proposed the six month apprenticeship to Hannah who was delighted to accept. “I have long thought estate
agency would be an area I could flourish in and I’m good at communicating with people,” said Hannah, who had only applied to Henry Adams. “I can really see my career developing in this profession.” Hannah, 18, lives in Horsham
with her family and attended Millais School before studying at Collyers where she has just taken A levels in English, History and Politics. Howard Ball said, “Hannah has made a great start and is providing excellent support initially to our lettings and new homes teams who are experiencing a particularly busy time. We are very proud to be introducing young, ambitious people into the industry.”
Chancellors in Bracknell Chancellors has launched its services to residents of Bracknell, Warfield and the surrounding areas.
