Radar was designed to be the first commercially available application to combine the demands of estate agency and lettings agency staff in one application, along with the back-office client accounting and block management functions. How does it work? ‘Indicators’ provide the user with up to date information about outstanding work that might need to be followed up, such as market appraisals, viewers’ feedback or progress of properties under offer. The summary of this is displayed in a task bar at the bottom of the screen; by hovering over each item the user can see what is outstanding. Indicators are provided at various different


levels so for example a regional manager will see the details of outstanding items summarised by office, whereas a branch manager will see it summarised by staff member in the office and a negotiator will see only their own outstanding tasks. ‘Dashboards’ are provided to different types


of user depending upon their role and seniority in terms of the detail they can see. What else? In response to the new EPC regulations users can automatically strip the first page of the EPC (a PDF document) and attach it to the end of property particulars, whether they are printed or emailed out to applicants. The results are then displayed within a ‘live list’ which means that the information is expanded and displayed on the same page as the results and not in another browser window. The news management section allows users to add news stories and assign them to relevant pages without having to re-enter them. These stories can then be shared via various “social Media” Share and like buttons. ReapitWeb sites will automatically identify the mobile device browser and resize the screen. What else? The software is designed by landlords and evolves on a daily basis according to user and expert feedback.
