ACA QUARTERLY MEMBERSHIP NEWSLETTER ACA Letters & Notes

DEAR ACA MEMBERS, I teach US Military His- tory to 12th graders at a public high school in North Orange County, CA. I have had sever- al guest speakers from Special Operations Forces, including an Army Ranger, Green Be- ret, Combat Intruders Force, 1st SFOD-D, Navy SEALs, Marine Force Recon and a Marine Sniper. Never have I had an AFSOC guest speaker. Furthermore, I have never spoken to one. I would love to have a chance to talk with any USAF CCT, PJ, or anyone else associated with the Air Force Special Operations Command. If possible, maybe even have someone speak to my class. I

understand lots of things are classified, and many of the guest speakers answer ques- tions with this answer: “I’m sorry, but I can’t answer that question.” Thank you for your time.

The Air Force is a close network, even more so within the Special Operations com- munity and I am thankful that the Air Commando Associa- tion (Air Commando Founda- tion) is there to help provide an honorable tribute for our fallen. Your contributions are certainly noticed by the 919th Special Operations Group and very much appreciated.

Dear ACA Members, It has been a month since I relocated to the Rocky Mountain region, and have at- tended my first ACA Rocky Mountain Chap- ter Meeting. I am extremely proud to be able to be a member and hope to assist Joe Becker in growing this important Chapter. We recently met at the VFW Post 101 in Colorado Springs to welcome new mem- bers and discuss future Chapter efforts. We encourage all ACA members living in the

Rocky Mountain area to attend our quarterly meetings.

I challenge all my Pavelow brethren to

attend our next meeting! The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for some time in Janu- ary 2015.
