Since those early days they have worked all over Europe entertaining in bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants and on cruise ships.

During that time, they maintained a base in Torrevieja and became well-known locally before departing to pursue a successful and rewarding musical career in Australia. Andy and Heather enjoy performing pop, rock and country music spanning five decades and have a vast repertoire of songs. They consider harmonies very important to their music, consequently most of their songs feature both of them singing.

When I asked Heather what their musical influences were her reply was “Anything with good harmonies”. Their rich blend of vocals is complemented by Andy’s versatility on both acoustic and electric guitar. Another distinctive trait of this likeable duo is their fondness for interacting between themselves and their audience. They have fun - and apart from enjoying their great sound - you can’t help but get drawn in and have a laugh with them.

Finally, I cannot write about “That’s Life!” without mentioning their haunting tribute to ‘The Carpenters.’ The combination of Heather’s amazing Karen Carpenter vocals with Andy’s subtle vocal arrangements and backing vocals make this a unique tribute not to be missed.

It is a truly special show – first Andy doing a solo spot, then the Carpenters and the finale is them letting their hair down with some Rock ‘n Roll.
