Santa is in town

THE clocks have gone back and summer is becoming a distant memory, which can only mean one thing: Christmas is on its way. If you were about in Gravesend recently you may well have seen the big man himself as Santa and his chief elf made a whistle-stop visit to the town ahead of Santa's Dizzy Day at The Woodville this December.

Arriving by high speed train, both Santa and his elf stopped off at Gravesend's O2 store, which sponsors The Woodville studio, before making their way for a spot of lunch at McDonalds.

A special post box will be placed in McDonalds from November 14 for children to post their letters to Santa. Replies will be emailed from the great man

once he takes up residence in The Woodville on December 10. Santa's dizzy day is the ultimate Christmas experience, ideal for two to six year olds. The show does everything children want to do at Christmas; written by BAFTA award-winning writer Iain Lauchlan, it is a fun-packed experience which will make children laugh, encourage them to sing their favourite songs and ask them to help Santa out of a tricky situation. As an added treat, all of the children will get the chance to meet and pass on a letter to Santa, who will give them a gift.

It is an unmissable treat for all children up to the age of six and will ensure that the festive season gets underway with an unforgettable Christmas experience.
