John Greenaway, Sales Manager at KFH Finchley says, “Having lived in Finchley my entire life, I cannot wait to combine my 20 years’ experience in property with my knowledge of the local community and all it has to offer.” Michael Quinn, Lettings

Batcheller Thacker and Monkhouse & Bannisters, both well established agencies in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, have announced that on June 1st 2011 they came together as Batcheller Monkhouse. The two businesses believe that they are a perfect fit, and the experience and skills of the partners and staff are entirely complementary. Creating a broader spread and economies of scale, Batcheller Monkhouse now aims to be the largest independent estate agency and property consultancy in the region and a strong rival for the various national agencies in the area. Managing Partner of

Batcheller Monkhouse, Charles Thacker, says, “We are delighted to announce this merger. It is a very important step for all concerned, and although our priority right now is to consolidate the business, we do have plans for organic expansion. “The new firm has brought

together Partners and staff with a very solid local reputation for professionalism and detailed knowledge within the region. Business is very good across the region and having come through the recession, I am certain that Batcheller Monkhouse will be seen as a real force in the years to come.” There were no redundancies

as a result of the merger. All the Partners have joined the management team of the new firm. The only overlap between the two original old firms was that they both had branches in Haywards Heath; these have been merged.
