A late 19th/early 20th century Heriz carpet, North West Persia, the madder ground centred with a stylised blue and cream ground floral medallion enclosing a central flower surrounded by eight floral pendants, foliate stems and serrated leaves, with dark blue ground spandrels within a cream ground border decorated with trees, serrated leaves and floral palmettes, 424cm x 314cm. £800-1200
