A George III mahogany architects desk, the hinged rectangular top with a moulded edge, opened by a brass push button at the rear, with adjustable lyre shaped strut support, incorporating a rise and fall book rest platform, above two hinged brass circular candle stands, above a pull out front section with fitted drawer enclosing a felt lined slide with hinged rectangular panel above two smaller drawers and one quarter demi-lune shaped side drawer at the right side, raised on rectangular section supports with internal casters, the carcass raised on corresponding supports with inner cylindrical columns and block feet with flattened cylindrical casters, 102cm wide x 84cm high x 66cm deep. £500-700

A Victorian white marble portrait profile bust of a lady by David Alexander Tod (fl.1882-1919), dated 1890, the rectangular marble panel carved in relief to depict a lady in profile, signed to the underside of the collar ‘D. A. TOD’ and dated ‘1890’, set into an oak frame, the marble panel 50cm x 35cm (overall size 74cm x 58.5cm). £400-600
