A fine late 19th/early 20th century Continental kingwood, marquetry and gilt metal mounted kidney shaped desk, the shaped top with a tooled and gilt leather skiver, above a central frieze drawer flanked by two smaller drawers over cupboard doors inlaid with urns issuing flowers and foliage, opening to fitted interiors of three drawers, raised on eight short cabriole supports with acanthus and scroll carved sabots, 141cm wide x 75cm high x 72cm deep. £4000-6000

A fine Victorian mahogany, walnut coloured marquetry and gilt metal mounted card table, the hinged rectangular top inlaid with a central panel of flaming torch and quiver of arrows with shell surmount and satyr mask pendant surrounded by flowers foliage and scrolls, opening to a purple baize lined interior resting on a pull out back section with amboyna lined drawer, the frieze with parquetry inlaid panels, raised on four tapered cylindrical supports with fluted detail and acanthus cast mounts, 97cm wide x 78cm high x 48cm deep. £2000-3000
