portfolio include Aloft London Excel, Premier Inn Stanstead Airport and W London Leicester Square, in addition to a development for Accor Hotel Group and a Premier Inn at London Gatwick Airport. The £30 million London Gatwick Airport project comprised the construction of a 250,000 ft² hotel, approximately 20,000ft² of private office space and a 400 space multi-storey car park (MSCP). The 13-sto- rey Premier Inn was built for Arora Hotels and was constructed at the North Terminal of London’s busy Gatwick Airport. In February 2014, McAleer & Rushe


announced that Endurance Land had ap- pointed the group to construct a 189-bed- room ‘hub by Premier Inn’, a new type of city centre hotel where smart technology meets stylish design. Situated in the heart of the city, the urban hotels are compact and include state-of-the-art technology. Situated in the Fournier Street and Brick


Lane Conservation Area, the new hotel has been expertly designed to sit com- fortably within its surroundings, ensuring that it continues to maintain the unique history of the area. This project marks the second time that McAleer & Rushe has been appointed to deliver a hub by Premier Inn, following their involvement with a 163-bedroom hotel on St Martin’s Lane, London. The St Martin’s Lane project – which


reached completion in July 2014 – in- volves the conversion and extension of
