little left in good repair, because the roof had been leak- ing, but we saved what we could – in- cluding conserving decorative molded plasterwork which involved replicat- ing missing piec- es,” said Sheila O’Flaherty, adding that some of the original art deco lights had also been restored and retained within the auditorium. extended, and ramps have been installed down the sides of the auditorium to fa- cilitate disabled access. New fully fitted toilets complete with new sanitaryware, fixtures and fittings have also been in- stalled A circular bar area has been created in


the foyer and a second bar has been fitted out on the lower level of the auditorium. The projection room has been fitted out ready for the projectors to be installed. “We had to adjust
