Surprise award at 20th anniversary TVBMA
The Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards (TVBMA) takes place this month – with finalists gathering at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, for the 20th anniversary gala awards evening
As we closed for press, judges were drawing up their final shortlist of 2014 business stars invited to attend the black-tie evening on November 20.
With top television newsreader and journalist Fiona Bruce hosting the awards, and Nick Hewer, of The Apprentice fame, as the guest speaker, the Awards are the most star-studded and high-profile night in the Thames Valley business calendar.
Apart from the eight award categories up for grabs at the dinner, a special Chairman’s Award is being presented to a mystery winner.
TVBMA chairman David Murray explained: “As this is a very special anniversary, we wanted to present one further award – to a company that has shown exceptional growth over the years and is one of the stand-out successes in the Reading area. All will be revealed on the night.”
