• Having taken on 15 new clients so far this year, it was time for Basingstoke-based Reality HR to increase its resources with the appointment of three new recruits. All three have been recruited since June, bringing the team of HR specialists to a total of 15 providing an outsourced HR function to over 70 companies. In what is a landmark year for Reality HR, which has so far moved to larger offices, merged with another HR company and rebranded, the future for the company is looking very bright. Nina Loveland (pictured left) and Nicola Gater (right) have both been appointed as HR advisers, providing support for the HR consultants and Reality HR’s clients. Loveland from Wokingham has just returned from maternity leave and has over 14 years’ experience in HR. Gater lives in Sandhurst and has two young children, returning to work in April 2013 from maternity leave. She spent nine years in her previous role with an airport services company at Heathrow Airport, finally as an HR manager having completed her CIPD qualifications. Finally, Sarah Graham (centre) from Basingstoke has been recruited as HR administration assistant to support the whole office. She has just returned from maternity leave, having previously worked for companies in Ireland and Australia, as well as the UK.

• Senior tax adviser Ross Bailey has joined the Reading office of national accountancy firm Haines Watts, in the corporation tax department. Bailey has over eight years’ experience in the sector and previously worked at Chantrey Vellacott DFK. His expertise includes tax-saving areas like: advancing expenditure, capital allowances, trading losses, extracting profits, dividends, loans to directors and shareholders, rates of tax and self assessment. Vanessa Townsend MNAEA joins Davis Tate to head up the department, bringing with her a wealth of experience having lived in the area for over 20 years while specialising in the country house sector, and working for leading national estate agents. Townsend also offers the invaluable experience of having handled both sides of the equation, having spent several years finding dream homes for discerning buyers.


• Alan Kinch has been appointed to the role of chief financial officer at Williams Grand Prix Holdings plc with effect from December 1, 2014. Kinch joins from Vodafone Group Enterprise where he has been finance director since April 2013. His previous roles include eight years at Cable & Wireless Worldwide plc where he spent three years as group financial controller. He will be responsible for all aspects of operational and structural finance for the Williams Group and will join the company’s board of directors. Current finance director Louise Evans will be departing Williams at the end of November 2014 in order to pursue new challenges. Evans joined Williams in 2004 and was appointed head of finance in 2005 and subsequently finance director in 2011.

• The largest law firm in Aylesbury, Parrott & Coales, is celebrating as one of its partners, James Couzens, has been crowned 'Regional Notary Public of the Year' for the South East. Couzens, who also runs his own business, James Couzens Notary Public, alongside his work with Parrott and Coales, won the award by public vote in the ACQ Global Awards 2014. Readers of ACQ, a leading mergers and acquisitions magazine for senior business leaders worldwide, voted across a range of categories to recognise the most outstanding companies, individuals and firm-wide professionals in the global public and private sectors. The Regional Notary Public awards recognise exceptional performance and acknowledge one distinguished notary in the regional category. Couzens secured the most nominations in the South East regional category from industry peers.


• Provider of cloud contact centre solutions, NewVoiceMedia, has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Guy Sochovsky as SVP business transformation and performance. Sochovsky will be responsible for shaping the organisational framework and delivering initiatives to support both high growth and operational efficiency across NewVoiceMedia’s expanding global footprint. He joins from Syniverse Technologies and MACH, global providers of interoperability and enterprise solutions focused on enabling the mobile communications industry, where he held various senior executive positions spanning finance, corporate development and strategy. The new position closely follows NewVoiceMedia’s appointment of Kev Willers as SVP strategy and is another key milestone in the company’s rapid growth.


• Tridonic UK has expanded its sales team with the appointments of Philippe Veltz to the role of global key account sales manager and Simon Blazey as pre- sales manager, Northern Europe region. Both bring considerable experience. Veltz will take responsibility for some of Tridonic's key global customers and will support the existing regional sales team. Blazey will focus on explaining Tridonic's value-add credentials for building performance to key stakeholders in the wider built environment market. Both Veltz and Blazey will work from the company's UK office in Basingstoke.
