The 2014 Haines Watts Young Entrepreneur of the Year finals take place on November 5, Bonfire Night – and the selected finalists will certainly set the competition alight with their hot business talents
The finals take place in Reading and details of the winners will be revealed in the next issue and on our website.
John Bailey, chairman of the HWYE judges, said: “The prospective candidates were interviewed by partners from Haines Watts at their offices around the Thames Valley and it was certainly challenging for us to select the finalists. We didn’t have fireworks – but almost! There were numerous sparkling entries and it’s definitely a sign of a more ‘entrepreneurial’ society that so many young people have successful, established businesses now.”
There was a wide range of business sectors represented in the applications, including IT
consultants; charities; carpet- cleaning specialists; events, dance and theatre companies; nutrition and fitness advisers; publishers; timber merchants and retailers amongst others.
