It’s free to join the library and there are no fines on books taken out on a child’s ticket and no charge for accidental damage to books borrowed by children under 8.
The library offers some great things for under 5’s and also parents:
• lots of lovely board and picture books to share with your child • rhyme time sessions and storytimes • join the Bookstart Bear Club • events and activities throughout the year • borrow CDs, DVDs and Talking Books (charges apply) • books on all aspects of parenting
The library is a great place for meeting people, sharing advice and learning. It’s suitable for all ages and has something to offer for everyone, with fantastic events, performances and lots of activities to get involved in.
