arlier this year, NSK ran a competition offering dental practices the chance to win an iClave, and the winner was Bristol-based practice Elgin
Park Dental. Now installed and up-and-running,
dentist Ceri Owen-Roberts, says he is thrilled with the iClave. For him, the extra capacity of the iClave has already reduced the number of daily autoclave cycles for the surgery. Ceri said: “Volume wise it’s bril- liant. Where as before I had to put all my implant equipment in two separate cycles in order to get it all done, with the iClave I can get it all in one. It’s a really good feature. We stock quite heavily in instru- ments so we can afford to run it about three times a day, therefore in terms of cost effectiveness it’s really good.” Ceri, who spotted the NSK competition

Ceri said: “Because it has faster cycles we’ve switched to using it ı00 per cent. It’s quicker, easier to use and it’s more reliable than our old autoclave. “We had excellent customer service
from NSK. They went to lots of effort to set it up properly for us, and came back several times to show us all the features and how it worked so we can get the maximum benefit out of it. Having had it for several months now, if I compared it to other auto- claves, I would definitely recommend it to other dentists.”
