THE STOPS The Desert Rose Playhouse, the Valley’s live stage company serving the LGBT community, present The Stops, a new musical by Eric Lane Barnes, from Friday, June 13 through Saturday, July 19. In this unique, original and funny show, three members of the North American Lady Organists Guild spread their gospel as an Andrews Sister-esque trio of different faiths united in their love of song called The Stops. The ladies perform a benefit for their mentor, a church music director and songwriter, recently ousted from his tabernacle because he is gay.
