• Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has appointed Charlie Mason, a leisure property surveyor as associate to strengthen its Oxford office’s commercial team. Mason, an RICS registered valuer, specialises in valuation, development appraisal, feasibility and agency advice across holiday parks, holiday cottage complexes, park home estates, marinas, children’s activity centres, hotels and public houses. He joins from GVA where he worked for five years, and prior to that he worked at Humberts Leisure and Savills.


• Two associate solicitors in the property team at Buckinghamshire law firm B P Collins LLP have won promotion from May 1, a move which underpins the firm’s depth of expertise and commitment to client service. Jasmin Hare (right) and Martina McCarthy (left) have both achieved senior associate status. Hare, who qualified as a solicitor in 2005 after training at a large City law firm, joined B P Collins in March 2012 to focus primarily on commercial property work. She has particular experience in the sectors of real estate investment, finance and development, as well as in general landlord and tenant matters. McCarthy trained at a West London firm and qualified in October 2009. She joined B P Collins two years ago and handles mainly residential property clients, with an emphasis on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and residential development.


• Santander Corporate & Commercial has appointed Mauricio Munguia as international director for London and the South East, a new role which has been created by the bank to increase its support for businesses in the region that are looking to grow overseas. Munguia joins Santander with a wealth of global experience, where his key strengths are in the LatAm and Central America regions. He will be responsible for developing stronger relationships with new and existing customers who are trading or wanting to trade in these territories and will drive the bank’s international initiatives such as the Trade Portal. The Trade Portal helps businesses identify where the best importing and exporting opportunities are for their particular products and services. Munguia is relocating to London and has 20 years’ experience in the banking sector, predominately in global transaction banking-related roles at various banks including BBVA, HSBC and Barclays in Spain.


• Thames Valley public relations consultancy, Escapade, has expanded its team with the recruitment of two new junior account executives. Charlotte Cosgrove (left), a 2013 psychology graduate of Queen Mary University, joins Escapade having completed a number of PR internships which provided a valuable insight into the profession. The team dynamic and impressive client list particularly attracted her to the company. Maddie Maggs (right) joins the team having worked in the insurance industry since graduating from university in 2007. During that time, she


also built up a wealth of relevant experience from writing blogs, articles and creating content for websites putting her in good stead to complement Escapade’s creative reputation.Lynne Goddard, managing director at Escapade, says: “We are delighted to welcome both Charlotte and Maddie to the team.
