SPONSORED BY Jansons WINNER JLL

Andy Jansons, with Jeremy Vine, announced the winner

The third award of the evening, and the judges thanked and invited applause for EGi – not a finalist, but the property sector information source linked to EstatesGazette. com whose research team had provided invaluable support to the inaugural Thames Valley Property Awards event.

This was one of the categories where EGi had provided comprehensive deal data to the Awards judges indicating which of the nominated firms had been the most prolific consultancy in the region in the qualifying period.

Three well-respected firms were announced as finalists: Dowley Turner Real Estate, JLL, and Lambert Smith Hampton.

Dowley Turner Real Estate – DTRE is an industrial specialist, appointed by SEGRO among others. DTRE has been involved in numerous high-profile projects in 2013, and has been regarded as an industrial specialist for a number of years. SEGRO appointed DTRE to advise on the sale of £80 million of industrial assets, and the firm also acts for Prologis and Gazeley.

JLL – Jones Lang LaSalle changed its name to JLL and adopted a new logo in March this year, on the back of a “very successful” 2013 with double digit growth in fee revenue. The firm predicts that in 2014 industrial property demand will surpass last year’s levels as investor activity continues to strengthen.
