seem like a sleepy little beach town in February but you never know what will happen. While photo- graphing the sunset over Little Tybee Island, my friends and I were sur- prised to see a tiny dot over the neighboring island getting bigger and bigger. After a while we could hear the drone of a motor. After circling for a bit, a


powered paraglider landed within 75 feet of us. Definitely not what we expected to see during a sunset. A few minutes later we were visited by a black and white spotted rabbit on the beach. Of all the things you might expect to see on a beach – gulls, crabs, jellyfish…. a rabbit is probably down near the very bottom of my list along with things like cheetahs and hippos. With won-
