As we leave the winter behind,and the weather starts to turn warmer, we need to create a cool living space, that is calming, comfortable and soothing.


This can so easily be achieved by the simple addition of cool and neutral colours. Where as for winter we would add reds, chocolates and burnt umber, for summer we need hues of blue, green and lilac.


The most simple and cost effective way of achieving this change over, is by introducing these colours through our soft furnishings, ie cushions, floaty voilles, table runners etc.


For an even more summer time feel, use floral print fabrics, which is so on trend this season both for our homes and ourselves!!


Flowers play such an essential role in enlivening any room, so co-ordinate your soft furnishings with matching random flower bunches either fresh or artificial, which will only enhance the overall ambience.
