MOSH combines the science of nature and the history of the

When many free African-Americans settled in the
LaVilla district, a thriving and artistically rich community emerged. The Ritz Theatre and Museum honors the era from the 1920s to the 1960s in LaVilla, the “Harlem of the South.” The Ritz Theatre hosts celebrity performers and amateurs, who deliver smooth Blues, Jazz and R&B tunes as well as performances featuring storytelling and dancing.
Veterans Memorial Wall
1145 E. Adams St., Jacksonville An outdoor memorial, the Veterans
Memorial Wall honors more than 1,500 veterans from all military branches. The memorial was dedicated in November 1995 to local heroes of World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War and the War on Terror.
