Jacksonville’s Westside. Not only does the complex offer premier equestrian facilities, but it also accommodates a variety of community events. The center has a 150-foot by 300-foot indoor arena with a seating capacity of 3,700. Surrounding the main indoor arena, 80,000 square feet of concourse space includes vendors, a concession and restroom areas.

The Jacksonville Giants are part of the American Basketball
Association (ABA). With more than 100 teams, the ABA is the largest professional basketball league. The Giants are a member of ABA’s Southeast division. Home games are played at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

The 100,000-square-foot facility offers a range of
recreational activities and sports. The Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex houses a regulation-size NHL ice rink for public skating, hockey and figure skating. The Sportsplex side of the facility offers five basketball courts, five volleyball courts and a multi-purpose turf arena. The Pro Shop carries an array of items for any type of skater—recreational, hockey or figure.

For more than 15 years, residents of the First Coast have
had the opportunity to watch NFL action in their own backyard. The Jacksonville Jaguars are the 30th NFL franchise team and are part of the AFC South Division. Since their inception, the Jaguars have made six playoff appearances and have clinched two division championships. Off the field, players actively participate in the community through the Jaguars Foundation.

Formed in 2006, the Jacksonville RollerGirls is
Jacksonville’s first all-female, flat-track roller derby league. The league is comprised of more than 70 skaters among four different teams, including an all-star traveling team, the New Jax City Rollers. The RollerGirls were accepted into the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association in December 2010. Additionally, the RollerGirls are known for their volunteer efforts around the community.
