THE BIG ISSUES THAT MATTER TO TEENAGERS & THEIR TOP ROLE MODELS
Calypso Soft Drinks is launching a “Help Change the World” campaign to encourage teenagers to support Fairtrade.
Calypso conducted a survey among 1000 teenagers (aged 11yrs-16yrs) to find out about the issues that really matter to them. They were also asked who they
considered to be the best role models and who they believed had the most power to do something to help resolve these issues.
Prince William, David Beckham and Gary Barlow came out on top as having the most power to change things, while One Direction star Harry Styles and Lady
Gaga also featured in the top 6.
For these teenagers, the most inspiring figures who have already made a difference to the world were Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Tim Berners-Lee.
