The TWEETNGREET was a chance to meet the fans. With the UK dates I’d tweet where I was on the day, but for the European meetings I had to tell the city to the fans in advance. I’d just tweet where I was going and turn up to play acoustic sets for anyone who wanted to come and listen. The UK ones got quite crazy, there were so many fans there. It was actually a bit dangerous at some

points, there were so many people.

You’ve given your fans the chance to record an acoustic version of “Do it All Over Again” with you. What can your fans do to win? Just someone who goes for it. I’ve heard so many great singers, so I want to see someone who gives it their all too.

Your UK tour with The Vamps and The Wanted starts in March. Are you ex- cited? What can your fans expect from the tour? I’m really excited about it. I’ve got my live band sorted now which will be amaz- ing. They can expect a lot of energy. A lot.

Have you met the other guys? Yeah I’ve met them all before and got to know them so it’ll be great to tour with my mates. It’ll be a lot of fun.

Have any other musicians given you advice on how to deal with your new

fame?

Honestly I haven’t really noticed much of a difference yet compared to before the single was released. Before I toured with Union J I hung out with them and Josh gave me some interesting advice. He told me that if there was anything I really enjoyed doing I should do it now whilst I still had the time, before everything got too crazy. He said “If you love playing football, you should go play football”. I was thinking, “will playing football feel different after I become famous?”

Were you expecting to play such massive gigs as British Summer Time in Hyde Park this early in your career? I didn’t even think about it. I didn’t expect it at all. It was an amazing surprise. I can’t wait to watch the other bands too. Especially McBusted. I used to love McFly and Busted when I was younger. It’s awesome in every way.

Any influential records you love? Bruno Mars ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’, that’s an amazing record and the ‘Number 1s’ album by Michael Jackson.

Do you have any plans for you future? And how’s your debut album coming along? No, no plans for the future. I think I’ll pack it all in now and retire early. Seriously I’ve almost finished my album, which is going to come out some time in the summer. I’m really excited about it. I keep getting carried away and writing more songs for it and thinking they’d be brilliant for the record. I have to keep telling myself that its nearly finished and to leave it alone. I’d love to do my own headline tour soon too.
