hangri La Springs is hosting a Spirit
Art Show featuring two local and interna- tionally regarded art- ists, plus Art Wednes- days at its historic location in Bonita Springs. The works of Bonny Hawley and Levi Hayes are on display through May 14 and plein air artists will show- case their talents on the hotel grounds from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays in April and May. A free reception for Hayes, plus full moon female and male drum circles by Jeanie Williamson and Sayer Ji will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., April 15. Naples artist Hawley has been capturing spirit in art
for 35 years. Her large-scale art consists mainly of acrylic, mixed-media collage, oil glazing and cold-wax media and involves monoprinting, stenciling, metallic paints, gold and silver leaf, and hand-painted papers on raw silk and linen. Hayes, of Bonita Springs, expresses a multi-faceted vi- sion of spirit and experience, and that everything holds a common thread upon canvas, plus other fine art media. He translates emotion through his abilities with structure, bal- ance, color, texture and overall composition.
