FROM SMALL BEGINNINGS... HTL (Hire Torque Ltd) started trading in 1994 from premises no larger than the average double garage and with only two employees. Since then they have grown in every area of their business and have almost 50 staff across 3 UK facilities in Aberdeen, Manchester and Blyth. In addition the company has engineers based throughout the UK offering service and support, 24 hours-a-day, every day!


Along with teaming up with Official HTL Partners in Iraq, Kazakhstan and Malaysia, dedicated facilities in Jakarta, Indonesia to service the South East Asia Oil and Gas Industry and also coming soon; HTL- Benelux based in the Netherlands, of which will have full Rental stock, workshop and calibration facilities.


More recently the company is proud to announce the new edition to the group of companies; ‘HTL-Hydrapress Ltd’, who are dedicated to the design, manufacture and supply of high pressure equipment, the likes of hydraulic power packs, valve test benches, high pressure pumps hose test rigs and are wholly committed to providing an excellent service and a quality product worldwide!


UNPRECEDENTED GROWTH Due to on-going investment and the dedication of the team, this has led to unprecedented growth and seen the company stock one of the largest rental fleets of Bolt Torquing and Tensioning Equipment in Europe.


PRODUCTS


Long-term joint reliability in wind turbine applications such as, foundation bolting, tower bolting, nacelle frames, bearings and gear boxes or where joints are permanently assembled is the company’s number one priority to supply state of the art controlled bolting equipment, therefore they can offer for both hire and sale hand, pneumatic and hydraulic torque wrenches through to hydraulic bolt tensioning equipment.


EVOTORQUE


More recently to aid personnel utilising torque equipment on the turbines, the company has recently launched an electric continuous rotation torque tool called the ‘EvoTorque’. Up until now with electric torque tools results revealed overshooting on hard joints and undershooting on soft joints.


The challenge was to create an accurate and reliable tool with intelligent joint sensing technology. Designed and manufactured in the UK the ‘EvoTorque’ utilises patent pending motor technology and motor control software to give unprecedented joint control.


SPECIFICATION


Each tool is factory calibrated to +3% and is provided with a unique traceable calibration certificate that includes torque calibration and angle calibration data. EvoTorque is rated to IP44 and available in 110V and 230V versions with models spanning a torque range from 200 NM to 6000 NM.

NEW CALIBRATION/SERVICE VEHICLE The company prides itself on the unrivalled service to their customers and are now going to stretch this to another dimension by presenting their new calibration/service vehicle that is available to come direct to the customer’s site nationwide.
